ORGANIC FARMING Since 2007, the Forteto della Luja Farm has begun a program to convert all its vineyards and land to organic farming. Certifying body ICEA (Ethical and Environmental Certification Institute). Only natural products are used in the vineyard, grassing practices and the use of wooden nests for birds are encouraged. Fertilizers are only organic (manure or compost). The cultivation of the vineyards, as well as the harvesting of the grapes, is done by hand. Crop distributions are favored in accordance with the biological needs of the land.
