Moscato d'Asti docg
Grapes: White Moscato
Period of the Harvest: 7th - 21th September.
Harvesting: There are 3 passages through the vines during the 15 days to ensure that grapes are picked only when they are ripe.
Yeld: The signs are there for a good vintage. We have seen the same levels ofpotential alcohol as in recent years -14%. The Heed acidity of 5.5 gr/l is also another indication of a balanced wine. The health ofthe grapes was ensured by a hot August and our analysis ofthe fenolic material and sensory analysis also suggest a good result.
Apparance: Intense straw yellow with an almost oily structure.
Buquet: Adistinctive smell of peaches and vanilla.
Palate: In the first stages of vivification it is important to maintainthe fruity character whilst reducing the vegetal and grassy notes. To be able to obtain the soft muscat on the palate with the intense and complete aroma that characterises this varietal from Piasa San Maurizio and typical ofthe zone origin - Santo Stefano Bello.
